The better part of my day was spent in an Ayurvedic cooking class at Bastyr University. The food we prepared was incredible, the spices were beautiful, and the friendships formed are profound.
Many lessons were learned today, not just about food, spices, and cooking, but also about healing and my own weakness and vulnerability. But that’s another story… one I’ve written and will be sharing soon.
For now, might I suggest being more intentional with your food?
Think about what you consume – when and why. Consider where it comes from and what it took to make it to your home to bring you nourishment. We can heal ourselves, if we are willing to listen to the wisdom of the body.
