Collecting Rocks from the Ruins

January 20, 2015 By

Last year ended and this year began with a grand adventure that had been a lifetime in the creation and a short few weeks in planning.

17 days. 3 countries. Countless castles and ruins rising up from the earth in imagination-filled images. Images that took our breath away and replaced it with new vision and expanded worlds.

I’m still processing the places and people we encountered. What will arise from the experience is still largely unknown. For now, this image captures the location where a piece of my heart will always live amongst the waves crashing against the rocks and the ruins.

This is what we found and now carry in our hearts…

Dunnottar Castle in the Scottish highlands.
