Answering the Siren Call of the Pacific Northwest

I traveled around the world but never found my home.

Not the home that I have found in my beloved Seattle.

Be it nature or nurture, there is something in the wind that draws me here.

There is something in the water that pulls me back again and again.

And then there is the pull of travel, sacred expansive wandering.

The allure of wild divine poetry found in exotic people and places.

Unknown and unseen roads draw me to their path.

And so I imagine that this is how my life will be.

Called by the wild unknown…

Pulled by the allure of home.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, my heart will always stay.

My feet, however, will walk new paths and return again someday.
